About The Program
Menomonie Market Food Co-op is proud to support a wide variety of organizations that promote food access, community-building, and cooperation through several annual giving initiatives.

Food Rescue
To increase access to healthy food in our community, we partner with Stepping Stones of Dunn County to glean edible food from our stores that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to local emergency food programs. Our Menomonie store also serves as a pickup location where our customers can drop off food donations, and we contribute monetary support to the pantry each year.

Community Donations
In addition to food donations made to local food pantries, we also offer free gift baskets, product donations, and monetary gifts to community organizations that align with our Ends. We encourage all businesses, non-profits, and community groups to reach out, and we seek to honor each request as our budget allows, as long as the purpose or event for which it’s requested is non-partisan, non-electoral, enriches our community, and can be described succinctly by the organizers. Donation requests may be submitted via the form below and are reviewed as received. If accepted, a confirmation email or phone call will be sent, and the donation will typically be prepared at least one week prior to the event.

Community Outreach
Menomonie Market Food Co-op staff also donates our time to community organizations through sponsorship, outreach, and education opportunities. We’re available for presentations at local events on topics including retail grocery operations, the cooperative businesses model, the local food system, sustainability, and more.
